2024 highlights

Arms of love Guatemala with John and ilsi Collins

Dear Friends and Family,

As we reflect on 2024, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible support. Your generosity has fully funded the completion of the Arms of Love Ministry Center, a milestone that will enable us to expand our reach and share Christ’s love with even more families.

Our ministry focuses on serving single mothers and children from low-income families, providing essential support through education, feeding programs, and skill training. We aim to empower these families by creating job opportunities and helping them become financially stable. Additionally, we look forward to starting a school that will offer scholarships, ensuring children in our community have access to quality education. Through these efforts, we aim to reflect Jesus’s love in tangible ways.

We look forward to completing the ministry center around September or October of 2025, which will enable us to further our mission and impact even more lives.

With heartfelt thanks,

John and Ilsi Collins

From Panama

There are three missionaries working for “pan De Vida” in Panama.  Michael Young is the Vice President in charge of Panamanian missions and works closely with Wilfredo and Luz Montenegro and their two daughters.  The Montenegro family targets the indigenous people of Panama.  Their goal is to win and disciple the people.  This year they have had 79 people seek Jesus and have made significant progress in discipline those.
Herbert Ospina is involved in outreach ministry in partnership with several different denominations.  He targets un reached and under reached communities.  He plans and executes medical clinics.  Children gospel events as well as community get together to watch and participate in singing, preaching and ministering.  In one area, a woman who was on the verge of suicide because her husband had left her and her young daughter without any means of support was given hope and help.  This woman is now one of our outreach leaders

From Pereira Colombia

God bless you with a lot of heavenly blessings 🙌 this has been such a wonderful year for us in Pereira. Colombia.

Our church, Amazing Grace Baptist church is growing a lot, we have new people, the kids ministry is blooming! By the grace of the Lord we were able to have 4 outreaches activities impacting the community. After every moment like this the parents of the kids come to the church and now we have such a great harvest 🙌 To God be all the Glory. one of the most meaningful thing that we're seeing is our teenagers being involved in the ministry, they are now the teachers of the new generation! The ladies ministry is also growing a lot. We had 40 ladies the last meeting. Also the cell groups keeps groin the Lord. The leaders team in bigger and the desire to serve the Lord is in every heart.

Also our couples ministry is wonderful! We had the opportunity to have a couple's retreat this year in a October and is was amazing. 30 couples came with us and now we have more families together serving the Lord.

Our daycare keeps going and it's wonderful to see our babies come every day and learning about the Lord. They don't want to leave the church every day, they live to be with us. Praise the Lord 🙌

The radio station is running amazingly! Every time more people listening and connect with us. As we have it recorded "BOL, sharing the Gospel around the world "  it's a wonderful experience!

The church community  is happy about the fact that we keep offering the psychology consultant to everyone, this has been an amazing year with the patients that comes and we're so grateful to be able to share and teach them about caring on your mental health.

This year we're able to go and share the Gospel in Argentina and Chile with Pastor Garry Mitchell and his team. It's been such a blessing to go there and be witness of miracles and singing and wonders 🙌 🙌 to God be all the Glory.

We could say more about this year, but the most important thing is that the greatest privilege is to be a servant of God! And all the souls that were saved for his name and glory! Thank you Lord. And thank you Bread of life and partners for letting the Lord use yourself to be a blessing in the kingdom! And to our lives!

And as we continue together, like one of our Pastors says: let's work together to make Jesus famous!

Thank you for everything 🙏 To our beloved brother Timothy and Pastor Mike. And associates! We love and pray for you every day 🤗

May the Lord bless you and Keep you 🤗

Together towards a great future 🙌

With deep gratitude and love.

Our Missionary Leidy leads our work in Ibague and Chicoral,  Colombia. Every Sunday we have a church service in Chicoral, and our families are continued to be blessed with our outreach. We have added a new partnership with 2 special needs foundations in Ibague, Colombia. Leidy visits every week to share a Gospel message with the children and teachers. Leidy is instrumental in providing a fun way to learn about Jesus. She also has been working with the elderly on Sunday afternoons at a retirement home giving older adults a lot of love and prayer. On other ministry Leidy has been working on is visitation to a woman's prison in Ibague, giving hope to many women that are incarcerated.  All the ministries above have been a receipent of our Unlucky Donkey Book that has a wonderful Easter story that allows kids of any background to enjoy a great coloring book with the story of Jesus.
